    “Es war eine kleine Bäckerei und Schlachterei vorhanden, wo man recht gut einkaufen konnte, ansonsten größere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im benachbarten Bad-Sachsa.
    Die Gastronomie ist sehr schlecht. Im Bischhofseck, was sich als Dorfkneipe entpuppte ging es einigermaßen, ansonsten kann man in Bad-Sachsa sehr gut und günstig zum Essen fahren.
    Wie schon erwähnt, sind wir lieber zu anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten gefahren.
    Es waren trotz alledem sehr schöne Tage.”
