You will spend your holiday in the heart of East Friesland. Berumbur is a quiet community with untouched nature and many fishing lakes in the area. After just a short drive you will reach the north and Aurich. Popular day trip destinations include Emden (art gallery) and Wilhelmshaven (harbour cruises, maritime museum and aquarium).Details: 1 bottle of sparkling wine on arrival as a welcome WiFi activities nearby: The seaside resort of Norddeich is only twelve kilometers away and can be reached quickly. Ferries depart from here to the East Frisian islands of Juist and Norderney. The seal breeding station Norden - Norddeich is also worth a visit: here seals, gray seals, small whales and dolphins are cared for and released back into the North Sea. To Norddeich is connected to the north, the "oldest town in East Friesland" with some important churches and museums. The old Lütetsburg Castle is known for its impressive landscaped garden and 30 hectares of old trees. The windmills that have survived to this day are worth seeing. The Berumerfehner high moor with the "Ewigen Meer", the largest raised moor lake in Germany with almost 90 hectares of water, is also interesting and varied. Our tip: Several well-known cycling routes such as the Frisian Mill Tour lead through the municipality of HageNot suitable for people with reduced mobility
