Within walking distance from the house is Lemvig, also called the mountain town of Jutland due to its beautiful location in hilly terrain. Here you can enjoy the maritime atmosphere of the harbor, shop in the various stores, enjoy a meal or an ice cream .
In the surrounding area there are many opportunities for fishing. If you have the surfing equipment with you, you can frolic in the Limfjord. In Thyborøn there are many attractions such as the Naval War Museum, Sneglehuset, Kystcentret, Jyllandsakvariet etc. The town is definitely worth a visit and if you are hungry, there are several restaurants by the harbor where you can also buy fresh fish.
You should also visit the Bovbjerg lighthouse. From the lighthouse you have a fantastic view of the surrounding area. If this is not enough to get your heart rate up, you can climb down the stairs to the sea.
